The hardcore punk band Cancer Bats was founded in Canada in 2004. Even though the music of the band finds its foundation in hardcore punk, elements of metalcore, southern rock and sludge metal can be found. The combination results in an aggressive and gritty but also groovy sound. Having released seven albums, there’s more than enough to choose from to create the perfect setlist. And with five JUNO nominations, it’s clear that Cancer Bats is the best of the best of the Canadian metal and hardcore scene. Definitely worth checking out!
