Curselifter

Curselifter is an emerging metallic hardcore band from Utrecht that has quickly built a strong reputation within the Dutch underground scene. Following a promising demo in 2023, the band released their self-titled EP in 2024, firmly putting themselves on the map. With the release of the single “Banishment” a year later, they solidified their position and demonstrated a clear growth in intensity and focus. Lyrically, Curselifter confronts social injustices such as abuse of power, sexual violence, oppression, and toxic masculinity. Their songs are both personal and politically charged: a combination of anger, vulnerability, and resistance.
