You probably haven’t missed the Swedish hardcorepunkband Thrown as one of the most upcoming bands within the alternative music scene. In 2023, the band opens for bands such as Knocked Loose and Counterparts. In August of 2024, their first studio album “Excessive Guilt” appears and fans are drawn to the sharp and aggressive sound that Thrown brings. Thrown expands the traditional metal- and hardcore sound and adds sharp elements: scratches, electronic glitches and even some rap. One thing is for sure: there is no shortage of the much loved, deep breakdowns. Their songs mostly last a little over two minutes, which causes their sound and lyrics to be straight to the point.
