The Norwegian rock band Turbonegro has been around since 1989 and draws inspiration from multiple genres. They transformed a mix of glam punk, hard rock and punk rock into the genre death punk. Their most awarded album, “Apocalypse Dudes”, appears in 1998, but the band broke up before they reached their expected breakthrough. In the following years, fans form a subculture named “Turbojugend”. This group was, among other fans, excited when the band agreed to reform in 2003. Their breaktrough in 2005 was due to "All My Friends Are Dead", an absolute sing-along song.
