Architects have already passed their 20-year milestone and in that time have grown from underground favorites into stadium-filling pioneers. This past November, the band played one of the biggest venues in the Netherlands and once again left a crushing impression. Their live shows are not only musically powerful, but also a full visual spectacle. It’s no coincidence that we’re proudly presenting them as a headliner for Jera On Air 2026! With their new album “The Sky, The Earth & All Between”, Architects delivers another massive dose of metalcore infused with post-metal and prog, layered with heavy electronic elements. All Time Low has grown into a staple of the poppunk scene. It’s been a while since the band last played in the Netherlands, but in 2026 you’ll get the chance to see them not once, but twice! After headlining at Tilburg’s 013, they will also take the Jera On Air tent by storm. By then, you’ll probably have worn out their new album “EVERYONE’S TALKING”, so there’s no excuse not to sing along at the top of your lungs. Of course, you can also expect the classic All Time Low hits like “Dear Maria, Count Me In” and “Weightless“. Their shows are often just as much comedy as music, packed with silly jokes and chaos between songs. Either way, this will be a real party you don’t want to miss!

The American Hatebreed has been present for 30 years, and has grown into one of the most trusted pioneers within the hardcore and metalcore scene. With ten albums to their name, the band is rock solid and brings younger and older fans together. Inspired by oldschool hardcore bands, Hatebreed leads you into heavy breakdowns and fast drums. The experienced musicians prove that you can have a metal side and a punk side. They deliver straight to the point hardcore with a clear message. On stage there is lots to see: if you can survive the moshpit, Hatebreed’s energy will blow you away anyway!

Ice Nine Kills
Ice Nine Kills is an American heavy metal band from Boston, Massachusetts. The band's music is primarily described as horror-themed metalcore, but incorporates many other musical styles. It was originally a ska punk band called Ice Nine, formed in 2000 by high school friends Spencer Charnas and Jeremy Schwartz, before adopting a metalcore style in 2010. Charnas is currently the only remaining founding member. The band is signed to Fearless Records.

Rise Against is known as one of the most successful modern punk bands with millions of albums sold worldwide. The band is characterized by its clear activist message in both its music and on stage. Their songs are often used in protests and social campaigns, and fans consider the band a “voice of resistance.” In the summer of 2025, Rise Against released a new album: “Ricochet”. Music magazine NINE:32 called it not groundbreaking, but still very strong, as can be expected from the band. Viagra Boys
The Swedish post punk band Viagra Boys has been inevitable on social media and festival line-ups. They formed in 2015 in Stockholm, but have covered a big part of the world with their uni-que dance and garage influences. With the singles “Sports” and “Punk Rock Loser”, they stand strong within the post punk scene. Their newest album “viagr aboys”, released in 2025, once again contains quirky and freaky elements and lyrics. Vocalist Sebastian Murphy writes about the absurdity of far-right politics, toxic masculinity and conspiracy theories. He also adds satire and irony and he definitely doesn’t forget to bring these to their live shows. With sunglasses on and a can of beer in his hand, he strongly shows off his many tattoos. Don’t miss this show at Jera On Air 2026, because Viagra Boys transforms the crowd into a complete chaos!

Trivium
Since forming in 1999, American metal giants Trivium have become a cornerstone of the modern metal scene. The band has long mastered the art of blending heavy metal with elements of metalcore, thrash and melodic metal: a fusion that has become unmistakably their own. Vocalist Matt Heafy draws heavily from mythology, history and social themes in his lyrics, which the band accentuates instrumentally with razor-sharp precision. Their most recent EP, “Struck Dead“, was hailed by Kerrang! as “brutally heavy and brutally good.” Live, Trivium operates like a perfectly oiled machine: tight, energetic and monumental. Alexisonfire is widely regarded as one of the most influential bands from the early-2000s post-hardcore wave. Formed in 2001 in Canada, the band quickly conquered the world. “This Could Be Anywhere In the World,” taken from their 2006 album “Crisis“, remains a fan favourite and has accumulated more than 67 million streams on Spotify. Their newer work continues to show their evolution as musicians, consistently reaching post-hardcore enthusiasts around the globe. Their set at Jera On Air promises to be explosive, blending old classics with fresh material. Even after more than twenty years, Alexisonfire still plays with the same ferocity as if they intend to burn every stage to the ground.

Alkaline Trio
For nearly 30 years, punk rock band Alkaline Trio has maintained its unique sound and identity. The band was founded in 1996 by guitarist and vocalist Matt Skiba, and bassist and vocalist Dan Adriano joined a year later. Their combined voices make Alkaline Trio what it is. In 2024, the band released its tenth studio album, "Blood, Hair, And Eyeballs," and thus boasts an impressive discography. Alkaline Trio thrives on the dark and macabre. This is reflected not only in their signature heart and skull logo, but also in their lyrics. Topics such as depression, death, and alcoholism regularly crop up. Consider, for example, the title track of their album, "This Addiction," which uses the drug heroin as a metaphor for love. Are you ready to surrender to the darkness?

Allt is a young Swedish band that kicked things off in 2020. With two EPs and debut album “From the New World”, the band has made a strong impact on the modern alternative scene. Their sound can be described as fierce metalcore with tight riffs, explosive breakdowns, and a dark industrial vibe. ‘Allt’ means ‘everything’ in Swedish, which fits perfectly with the band’s mindset and the way they approach their music: the band gives it their all and effortlessly blends a wide range of heavy genres. Annisokay
Hard metalcore breakdowns, melodic choruses and electronic rock influences come together in a powerful sound called Annisokay. The German band was founded almost 20 years ago in Halle (Saale), but have outgrown the limits of that city a long time ago. With almost half a million monthly listeners on streaming platforms and tours with Electric Callboy and Silverstein, the band has clearly proven that it is now an established name in the scene. The shows from our eastern neighbors are often short but intense. It feels like a compact burst of energy, almost as if you signed up for a HIIT workout session. At an Annisokay show, you actually get a melodic emo show and a metalcore pit at the same time: people start by singing along at the top of their lungs, and ten seconds later the whole venue turns into one big moshpit. Honestly, this is something you simply cannot miss at Jera On Air 2026.

Bad Nerves is known as the band that breathes new life into old-school punk energy. The British
group delivers fast, raw, yet highly melodic music and is often described by the media as the love
child of the Ramones and The Strokes. With their short, explosive songs packed with insanely
catchy hooks, they’ve already blown the roof off many venues across the Netherlands. Music
magazine NINE:32 called their show at Groningen’s Vera “fantastic” and predicts it won’t be long
before the band joins the established names in the scene. Looking for a serious dose of punk

Basement
Basement is back! The English rockband released their breaktrough album “Colourmeinkindness” back in 2012, which was loved by critics. The band was used to taking breaks from touring, but in 2019 they were absent for a longer time, except from some anniversary shows. The loyal fanbase unfortunately had to wait until the band returned in 2024. Now the band is flying through tour data and picking up fans along the way. Basement combines alt-rock, emo and grunge with razor-sharp lyrics that don’t leave your mind. Expect nothing less but tight riffs, lots of energy and an emotional touch.

Belvedere
Belvedere delivers razor-sharp old-school skate punk with modern precision. If you’re even remotely familiar with the punk scene, you can’t ignore Steve Rawles and his bandmates. The band, formed in 1995, is still cited as an inspiration by many punk bands today. Their technically strong punk, with high speed and ultra-tight riffs, often sounds even faster and tighter live than on the record, earning praise from fans everywhere. Although Rawles remains the only original member and half the band was replaced in 2019, Belvedere continues to stay firmly on course. In May 2021, they released their most recent album: “Hindsight Is the Sixth Sense”. A record that, according to Deal Radio, hits the nail on the head today: “In a nutshell, Belvedere has nailed it. It’s a fucking rad record with its combination of skate rock harmonies and sing-along choruses. I reckon it will have the youth of today galvanised and ready to stand beside them as they revolt against the machine.“ Fists in the air and make sure to go full throttle at Jera On Air 2026!

Bob Vylan
Bob Vylan burst out of the United Kingdom and into the world in 2017 as a duo that challenges genres, breaks boundaries, and never holds back. The band members, known as Bobby Vylan and Bobbie Vylan, fuse grime, punk rock, hardcore, reggae, and spoken word into a sound that’s raw. Their lyrics hit hard: racism, inequality, toxic masculinity, power games, police violence, nothing is left unspoken. The duo does everything themselves: producing, mixing, mastering, and releasing through their own label Ghost Theatre. With tracks like “Bait the Bear” and “We Live Here”, they’ve already made a serious impact. Bob Vylan holds up a mirror and demands people to wake up, presenting their own political and social vision, socially accepted or not. At Jera On Air, Bob Vylan promises a show that shocks and liberates. Expect mosh pits, fists in the air, and lyrics that will haunt you for days.

Bury Tomorrow is no stranger to our beloved festival. We’ve welcomed the band from Southampton several times already and in 2026 they’ll be back once again! In the summer of 2025, the guys released a new record: “Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience”. An album that critics were pretty much unanimous about: strong, and a record that shows exactly what the band is capable of. “They nailed it again with their seventh album. They have made better albums, but it’s strong enough to keep their place and that’s right at the top,” wrote a reviewer from GRIMM. We might even hear some new music during Jera On Air, but one thing is certain: you can expect nothing less than top quality from Bury Tomorrow!

Catch Your Breath
Catch Your Breath doesn’t like to put themselves in a box and constantly experiments with pushing genre boundaries. Think alternative metalcore infused with pop-driven vocals and electronic elements. The American band spent years searching for their own sound, going through multiple lineup changes along the way. In 2023, Catch Your Breath released their debut album “Shame On Me”. Single “Dial Tone” marked a breakthrough in the band’s popularity, thanks to its success on TikTok. Curselifter is an emerging metallic hardcore band from Utrecht that has quickly built a strong reputation within the Dutch underground scene. Following a promising demo in 2023, the band released their self-titled EP in 2024, firmly putting themselves on the map. With the release of the single “Banishment” a year later, they solidified their position and demonstrated a clear growth in intensity and focus. Lyrically, Curselifter confronts social injustices such as abuse of power, sexual violence, oppression, and toxic masculinity. Their songs are both personal and politically charged: a combination of anger, vulnerability, and resistance. To truly understand Curselifter, you have to experience them live; that’s where their message fully comes to justice. You will definitely feel the impact resonate within your chest!

Decapitated
When you can barely make out a band’s name in its logo, you know it’s going to be loud. That definitely applies to the Polish metal powerhouse Decapitated. Since the band’s formation in 1996, they have developed into a well known name in the death metal scene. In 2007, the band went on hiatus due to a tragic accident involving the band members, but in 2009 the fire was reignited when founder and guitarist Waclaw ‘Vogg’ Kieltyka restarted the band. Since then, they’ve added several albums to their catalog, including “Cancer Culture” and “Carnival Is Forever”. On these records, the band once again showcases their distinctive sound, marked by complex rhythms and brutal intensity. At Jera On Air, Decapitated won’t be coming to play nice, they’re coming to plow up the field.

With the new album “Finding Peace” fresh from the studio, Desolated is ready to blow Ysselsteyn away. The quintet from Southampton delivers the most brutal hardcore since 2007, and is proving itself within the British hardcore scene. Slow riffs and low grunts are supported by the fierce drums by drummer Charlie Thorpe, who also plays in fellow band Malevolence. Vocalist Alexia Roditis and guitarist Violet Mayugba were only fifteen years old when they started as a punk rock duo back in 2015. Ever since, Destroy Boys has become a full punk band that has been evolving their sound for over a decade. The foursome from Sacramento, United States, has released four studio albums. They opened for bands like blink-182 and Mannequin Pussy. The punk sound that Destroy Boys delivers is old-school and rebellious. Their last album, “Funeral Soundtrack #4”, lyrically explores more about gender identity, which is one of their main themes. Destroy Boys is expressive and fun, as are their live shows. Don’t miss this gig!

Distant
In 2014, the deathcoreband Distant forms in Rotterdam along with members from Slovakia. More than 10 years later, the band is indispensable in the deathcorescene in the Netherlands. The 2021 album “Aeons of Oblivion” caused their breakthrough. Their most recent album “Heritage” features members from bands such as Suicide Silence, Emmure and Lorna Shore. Distant is truly brutal. Their downtempo deathcore blends with a variety of guitarsounds and breakdowns. Vocalist Alan Grnja grunts lower than the bass tuning and screams higher than the screeching guitar solos. Distant’s chaos and rage are addictive, and even on stage the band never stops. Expect a ruthless moshpit or a stiff neck from headbanging, because Distant guarantees brute noise along with lots of fun!

Dog Eat Dog
The hardcore punk group Dog Eat Dog forms in 1990 in Bergen, New Jersey, and quickly conquers the east coast of The United States. Their music contains elements from the nu-metal subgenre, the hip-hop scene and there is lots of rapping. For their first oversees tour, Dog Eat Dog was mentored by none less than hardcore punk band Bad Brains. Right after, the band gains mainstream attention with their album “All Boro Kings”. The saxophone usage in several songs is a trademark for the band’s sound. The group shared stages with bands like Rage Against The Machine and Metallica and knows how to win over an audience. For now, Dog Eat Dog is ready to play at Jera on Air 2026!

Dying Wish
The American band Dying Wish is not only a metalcore magician, but also a hardcore emperor and political partisan. The band formed in 2016 in Portland. Their 2021 debut album “Fragments of a Bitter Memory” marked an important point in their musical career. To this day, the band keeps collecting new members for their fanbase. The new album “Flesh Stays Together” appeared in September 2025 and vocalist Emma Boston lets her grunts out again over the melodic metalcore sound. “Flesh Stays Together” is well received by fans and by critics as a true power record, and you can surely expect the same power at their show at Jera On Air 2026!

The fast, rough character of the hardcore punk band End It is upcoming within the hardcore scene. The band from Baltimore releases their first studio album “Wrong Side of Heaven” in the summer of 2025. End It performed on Jera on Air 2024, but this year they are back with new music! End It has the sound of old school hardcore and punk, especially because of the crunchy riffs and production. Their music contains trash elements, and even some soul parts. Vocalist Akil Godsey delivers his lyrics with a natural aggression and a bit of insanity. This makes the band unique and energetic, on record as well as on stage. Be on time for the show, because the band has an opening ritual: Akil sings a random song, before End it totally wrecks the stage!

Fiddlehead
Every Fiddlehead show is a rare occasion, as the band doesn’t tour often. In 2026, they’ll take the stage at Jera On Air and trust us, this is one you don’t want to miss! Musically, they move within the post-hardcore spectrum: combining aggressive hardcore elements with melody, emotion, and hooks. Their live shows are often described as unforgettable and deeply moving. Fiddlehead is made up of members from other prominent hardcore bands such as Have Heart and Basement. Thanks to their roots in the hardcore scene, they bring an intense live energy and effortlessly balance raw power with heartfelt emotion. Frontman Patrick Flynn is also a full-time history teacher, which explains why Fiddlehead isn’t a full-time touring band. Making it extra special that we get to welcome them to Ysselsteyn this summer!

Free Throw
Free Throw is an American emo punk band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2012. The band's lyrics address themes that many people can relate to, such as mental struggles, insecurity, and growing up. This makes Free Throw authentic: their music and lyrics reflect real emotions, making their songs meaningful to many fans. The band has released five studio albums, the most recent of which, "Lessons That We Swear to Keep," was released in 2023. Free Throw combines emo and punk aesthetics with melody and accessibility. Raw and honest, yet catchy and relatable. The band is known for its close bond with fans, which is also evident during their live shows. They always feel intimate and provide the space to scream out all your worries.

Get the Shot
After 16 years, Canadian metalcore band Get the Shot parted ways with vocalist Jean-Philippe Lagacé in 2025. The band members don't seem to entirely agree on the reasons behind this, but the fact remains that Get the Shot will perform at Jera On Air 2026 with guitarist Olivier Roy on vocals. This is a band that exudes anger and darkness, which is clearly audible on their latest album, "Merciless Destruction." With titles like "Reign in Blasphemy" and "Diabolus Vobiscum," this could easily be an ode to the underworld.

Gridiron
When you listen to hardcore band Gridiron, you’ll hear lots of hip-hop and metal influences. This is not uncommon in the hardcore scene in Pennsylvania, where the band originates. After lots of Call of Duty sessions during lockdown, the group of five gets the idea to casually record some music. They like the heavy sound of Pennsylvania hardcore and want to combine it with 90’s rap. Gridiron succeeds without a doubt, because the band has transformed into a group of experienced musicians. Their last album “Poetry from Pain” is rough, well produced, and contains some nu-metal influences. Gridiron’s aesthetic is threatening and their rap lines are convincing. The band focuses on the core of hardcore: to turn everything in life that brings you down into contagious aggression and to conquer a venue or festival stage!

Harms Way
Harms Way started in 2006 “just for fun” as a side project of the straight-edge band Few and the Proud. In the early years, they played fast, short, power violence tracks, but Harm’s Way has since grown into a serious band with its own distinctive sound. The band combines metal, industrial, and hardcore into a unique blend, making them beloved by a wide audience. Their evolution from power violence to more complex, darker sounds is often praised. This shift in genres is particularly evident on the 2015 album “Rust,” which made them stand out within the hardcore scene. Harm’s Way is also certainly known for their intense live performances; the power they radiate from the stage is often described by critics and contributes to the band’s reputation.

Have Mercy is an alternative rock band from Baltimore centered around singer and songwriter Brian Swindle. Since their breakthrough with debut album “The Earth Pushed Back” in 2013, the band has become a staple within the emo and alternative scene. Have Mercy effortlessly balances vulnerability and energy with their raw honesty and soaring melodies. Despite lineup changes over the years, Swindle remains the creative heart of the band. His raw and distinctive voice gives each song a personal and sincere weight. Haywire (online also spelled as Haywire 617) from Boston is the hardest touring hardcore band of the moment. The band is young and ambitious, combining old-school hardcore with a modern day mentality. Haywire is relatively new and released their debut album, "Conditioned for Demolition," in 2024. The album is only 19 minutes long, and in that time, you'll be bombarded with eleven hard-hitting hardcore tracks. Each one is great for singing along, with mostly lighthearted lyrics. Haywire is known for their energetic live shows, where the mosh pits are so intense it's almost dangerous. Haywire is a must-see in the contemporary hardcore scene and you absolutely don't want to miss it at Jera On Air 2026!

Heriot
Heriot has toured with bands like Jinjer, Trivium and Thy Art Is Murder, winning over new fans at every support show. Their music fuses metalcore, sludge and noise into a suffocating, crushing sonic sound. Dual vocalists Debbie Gough and Jake Packer create an intense, claustrophobic dynamic, backed by a rhythm section that makes every track feel like the ground is shaking beneath your feet. Their debut release “Profound Morality“ received widespread critical acclaim: “‘Profound Morality‘ is an example of modern metalcore that pushes boundaries while setting new standards in exhilarating sonic extremity.” It’s no surprise that Heriot is considered one of the most talked-about new metal bands from the United Kingdom. Get ready for a brutal assault on your senses, because Ho99o9 - pronounced as horror - is coming to Jera On Air! This explosive band from the United States blurs the lines between hardcore punk and industrial hiphop like no one else. The Norwegian rock band Turbonegro has been around since 1989 and draws inspiration from multiple genres. They transformed a mix of glam punk, hard rock and punk rock into the genre death punk. Their most awarded album, “Apocalypse Dudes”, appears in 1998, but the band broke up before they reached their expected breakthrough. In the following years, fans form a subculture named “Turbojugend”. This group was, among other fans, excited when the band agreed to reform in 2003. In late 2008, Fresku released the song “Brief Aan Kees,” addressed to Kees de Koning, which earned him a contract with Top Notch in 2009. In 2010, his debut album “Fresku” was released, followed by the album “Maskerade” in 2012. Both albums were voted Best Album at the State Awards. His third album, “Nooit Meer Terug,” was released in 2015. Fresku felt that he couldn’t express everything through music and made his debut as a comedian in 2016 with his one-man show ‘Welkom Bij De Fresku Show’. Together with Mani, he then released the collaborative album ‘Juice’ in 2017. Last year, he recorded a track for his newborn, sick son Rayaan. He created this song together with Janne Schra, and it can also be heard on ‘In Het Diepe’. On October 26, 2021, his new album titled ‘In De Lucht (Part 1)’ was released. This album is about personal intuition and what’s in the air, and not knowing exactly what will come of it. In 2022, Fresku was selected as an ambassador of freedom for May 5. He performed in Utrecht and The Hague and concluded with a concert on the Amstel River, accompanied by the Philharmonie Orchestra. In September and October 2022, Fresku and his band will tour the country with his club tour ‘In De Lucht’.

Straight out of Hip Hop collective VHS (Vampieren Heksen Spoken), this Flemish duo bringd the dark side of Anna (Antwerp) with their possessed rap and infernal energy. Loyal to the Memphis Horrorcore, a particular style of Gangsta rap, producer Slagter do big use of minimal synths and beats as MC Kleine Crack unapologetically tackles themes like drugs and murder to release dark feelings. Among his many collaborations, Kleine Crack is especially beloved in the Netherlands for his two club bangers “PARRA” and “ELEKTRO STRESS 2” featuring Opgewzolle’s Rico.

Lola Doppelspitze, your new guilty pleasure. This “Double D” (Dutch-Deutsche) creature takes you on a bipolar journey of raw sensuality and untamed chaos. The year is 2002. Vocalist Jesse Wagner and organist Roger Rivas, each fresh out of their own bands, cometogether to form dirty reggae quintet The Aggrolites. Upchuck burst into being in 2018 as a band of Atlanta skaters in their early 20s, fronted by the magnetic performer KT, and quickly became hometown heroes thanks to their uproarious live shows. 2022 saw the release of their debut full-length Sense Yourself on Brooklyn’s Famous Class Records and was followed soon after by 2023’s Bite The Hand That Feeds, produced by Ty Segall. Early singles like “Freaky” and “Facecard” won support from the likes of Iggy Pop and Henry Rollins, who both played tracks on their radio shows, as well as press attention for their “die-hard attitude” (Vogue) and “lightning-hot bursts of energy” (The Fader). Their latest record RHYME&REASON, scheduled for Fall 2023, shows a band in their prime. After losing his mother four years ago, frontman Sascha Vansant only now screams what he couldn’t tell his mates for so long in lyrics that soothe the soul as much as they cut it like a knife. You hear him search for every word, and at the end, the catharsis is deserved. It’s easy to imagine how he looks up to the sky, his band giving it all one more time in a rare euphoric moment on this quite dark record.

unpeople, a project brimming with energy, and impassioned animosity with the state of the world and its effects on humanity. A 4-piece made up of guitarists Jake Crawford and Luke Caley, alongside bassist Em Lodge and drummer Richard Rayner all with a mission to combine earnest lyricism and hefty riffs with catchy melodies and luscious harmonies.
They’ve gained high praise from the likes of Kerrang! Magazine (‘A phenomenon waiting to happen’) and Distorted Sound (‘arena-worthy hooks… hellacious screams… gloriously heavy guitars’). Their headline show at The Underworld last year sold out in a day and unpeople were nominated for two Heavy Music Awards in 2025 - Best Breakthrough Live Artist and Best UK Breakthrough Artist, having also received a nomination in 2024.
The band recently released new single ‘clouds’ and 2026 will see them perform at festivals such as Download and Slam Dunk in the UK, as well as Hurricane & Southside, Rock for People, Copenhell, Jera on Air and more in Europe.

RONKER
RONKER is not the first state-of-the-art speednoise band to ever exist, but they are the first to coin the term. Formed in the Belgian swamplands in 2020, the band arrived screaming bloody murder and is now hailed as one of the fastest-rising acts in the country’s thriving heavy music scene. Looking like a bunch of mustachioed cloned firefighters, the band often draws comparisons to the Ramones due to its uniformity. That being said, RONKER sounds nothing like a band who would bow down to conformity. Take a dash of noise-rock, splash in a healthy amount of hardcore riffage and top it off with some 90’s emo and you’ve got an indication of RONKER’s sonic assault.
