Banjo, flute, organ, accordion. Not the usual gear for a punk band, right? Well, Dropkick Murphys are not a usual punk band. They started in 1996 in Quincy, Massachusetts. The members come from an Irish-Catholic working-class neighborhood. Not so strange that their sound mixes traditional Irish folk with heavier punk music. Think of a pub sing-along that got very, very loud. They’re no strangers to Jera On Air. They’ve played here many times, and this year, they’re headlining the festival once again. We know that every time they take the stage, they turn our tent upside down and inside out. And every time, they make sure you end the festival day with a smile on your face. Expect a big, happy party with a bit of a rough edge. Jera On Air 2027 is ready for another Irish-punk night. Grab a friend, grab a drink, and sing along!
