Lorna Shore is an American deathcore band that formed in New Jersey in 2009. In 2021, their single “To the Hellfire” went viral on TikTok and reached number one on the iTunes metal charts. It is still one of their most-streamed songs, so it’s gonna be on the setlist for sure. Lorna Shore has an interesting and unexpected history, with no original members left in the current line-up. Singer Will Ramos first joined as a temporary touring vocalist after the band parted ways with their previous singer just before a European tour. Today, his jaw-dropping, animalistic vocals blow audiences away every night. So, expect an extreme show with a bombastic sound. We were very proud to announce Lorna Shore as the first headliner of the 2027 edition. The band is thrilled as well: “It’s been a few years, so we are super excited to return to the Netherlands for this one!” Jera On Air welcomes you to the hellfire. See you in the pit!
Dropkick Murphys
Banjo, flute, organ, accordion. Not the usual gear for a punk band, right? Well, Dropkick Murphys are not a usual punk band. They started in 1996 in Quincy, Massachusetts. The members come from an Irish-Catholic working-class neighborhood. Not so strange that their sound mixes traditional Irish folk with heavier punk music. Think of a pub sing-along that got very, very loud. They’re no strangers to Jera On Air. They’ve played here many times, and this year, they’re headlining the festival once again. We know that every time they take the stage, they turn our tent upside down and inside out. And every time, they make sure you end the festival day with a smile on your face. Expect a big, happy party with a bit of a rough edge. Jera On Air 2027 is ready for another Irish-punk night. Grab a friend, grab a drink, and sing along!
Motionless In White
Their name comes from a song, and their look comes straight out of a horror movie. Motionless in White is an American metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania, formed in 2004. Their sound blends heavy metal, electronic music and gothic horror. Expect crushing breakdowns mixed with electronic sounds and choruses that sometimes feel almost like irresistibly catchy pop songs. Their latest album, “Decades”, came out in the summer of 2026, featuring guest appearances by Skylar Grey, Corey Taylor and Anthony Martinez. Metalfan.nl noted that the band stays close to its original sound while delivering a more varied, catchy and rousing mix without losing any of its intensity. We’re excited to experience this on the Jera On Air stage, complete with its full theatrical flair. Live, their shows are larger than life and a feast for the eyes, with dark costumes meeting heavy riffs. Jera On Air 2027 is ready to go gothic. So, wear black!
Simple Plan
Scooby-Doo on stage at a punk show? With Simple Plan, that’s normal. When they play “What’s New Scooby-Doo?”, the Scooby-Doo characters join in on the fun. This Canadian pop punk band started in 1999 and has built a loyal fanbase over the years. Today, they’re also very popular on TikTok, with funny videos about life in the band and collaborations with artists like singer LØLØ and Jared Reddick of Bowling for Soup. In 2026, they also released a children’s book inspired by their single “I’m Just a Kid”. This band does it all. We’re very happy to welcome these pop punk favorites back to Jera On Air. And we can almost guarantee that the setlist will include “Perfect”, “Jet Lag”, “Shut Up” and “Welcome to My Life”. Let’s make this set our ultimate summer paradise!
The Interrupters
Hips or fists? At a The Interrupters show, you get both. This ska-punk band from Los Angeles is led by singer Aimee Allen. Behind her are brothers Kevin, Justin and Jesse Bivona. On tour, Billy Kottage joins them on trombone, adding that unmistakable ska sound. We know them well, because they’ve played Jera On Air before. Every time, they turn our festival into one big party. Their song “She’s Kerosene” has more than 77 million streams on Spotify, so you probably know it already. And if not, give it a spin! In the crowd, you can shake your hips and dance. But a swinging mosh pit is always possible too. The mood is happy, the songs swing, and your feet will probably move more than you expect. Jera On Air 2027 needs a good party. The Interrupters are coming to start it. Dance, jump and sing along with them!
Blood For Blood
Boston hardcore veterans Blood for Blood are back, and they haven’t lost their bite! The band formed in 1994 and made a name with the albums “Livin’ in Exile” and “Outlaw Anthems”. Their early shows got so out of hand that they were banned from several cities. After a long break, they signed to Roadrunner Records in December 2025 and released their first single in 21 years: "You’re Gonna Have to Kill Me”. Original guitarist Rob Lind now plays alongside new bandmates, who deliver the same energy as ever. The lyrics portray addiction, poverty and self-destruction, but the songs are catchy enough that you’ll be shouting along with the choruses. At Jera On Air 2027 the pit won’t stand still, so save your voice and your energy!
Bodysnatcher
Three Kyles and one Chris: that’s the lineup of Bodysnatcher. This deathcore band from Florida released their newest album, “Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home”, in April 2026. Kerrang! wrote that it “could punch a hole in the Earth”, while Ghost Cult gave it 8 out of 10. The opening track, “The Maker”, is the most-played song on the record, with more than 1,420,000 streams. Their European headline tour came just before the release of the album, so European audiences had to wait to hear its full potential live. Many fans say the live show is even heavier than the studio recordings. The band builds tension, then lets it explode in slow, crushing breakdowns. Expect no fuss, just aggression, deep bass drops and brutal grooves. We can guarantee there will be a mosh pit. And another, and probably another. Get your muscles loose and bring a friend, maybe even a Kyle!
Brutus
Chaotic and controlled? That is how people describe the music of Brutus. This Belgian trio comes from Leuven, only about 150 km from the Jera On Air grounds. Even so, in a normal festival summer, you will find them anywhere but home, because so many festivals want them on their lineup. We understand why! Their post-hardcore, post-metal, and post-rock sound is heavy, and it becomes even more special thanks to Stefanie Mannaerts. She plays fast, complex drums while singing lead vocals. People call her talent rare and raw. No wonder New Noise Magazine called their 2022 album “Unison Life“ a "definitive masterpiece of modern heavy music." Live, listeners say the energy hits you like a force of nature, and there is a reason they have already released two live albums. For once, Brutus doesn't have to travel far. Jera On Air 2027 is close to home, and we're ready for them to take our stage!
Comeback Kid
They have been making music for more than 25 years, but Comeback Kid will return to Jera On Air once more. The band is one of the most popular melodic hardcore bands, shining their light across the scene, all the way from Winnipeg, Canada. With their most recent album “Chosen Hell” they provide raw energy, massive sing-along choruses and uncompromising aggression. The best material for you to run around the festival grounds. And if there’s one thing Comeback Kid know how to do, it’s bringing every individual together to form one massive, sweat-soaked crowd. Expect stage dives, circle pits and voices screaming every word back at the band. When these hardcore legends perform at Jera On Air, you won’t want to miss them.
Dead To Me
With their infectious melodies, driving rhythms and raw punk rock energy, Dead to Me delivers a sound that hits hard while staying firmly lodged in your head. Since forming in San Francisco, California, in 2003, the band has built a reputation for blending melodic punk rock with powerful hooks. Their honest, uncompromising lyrics explore personal struggles, addiction, recovery and everyday life. Their debut album, “Cuban Ballerina”, established their distinctive sound, pairing gritty, guitar-driven punk with socially conscious songwriting. Through line up changes and periods of renewal, Dead to Me have continued to deliver music that balances intensity and urgency with infectious melodies and singalong choruses. Dragged Under
Formed in Seattle, Washington in 2019, Dragged Under combines melodic hardcore, metalcore and punk rock into an energetic, hook-driven sound. Founded by vocalist Anthony Cappocchi and guitarist Ryan “Fluff” Bruce alongside their early bandmates, they quickly attracted attention with their debut album: “The World Is in Your Way”. Their follow-up release in 2022, “Upright Animals”, further showcased their mix of heavy riffs, melodic choruses and emotionally direct songwriting. Live, Dragged Under deliver an explosive performance, infectious choruses and a perfect balance of aggression and melody. Their performances appeal to fans who enjoy heavy music with the accessibility and momentum of punk rock. Drain
Fast, heavy and fun: meet DRAIN! The band formed in Santa Cruz in 2014 and is a well-known name in the 2020s hardcore revival. Frontman Sammy Ciaramitaro delivers hardcore punk vocals over eighties thrash riffs. After “California Cursed” and “Living Proof”, the third album “...Is Your Friend” came out in November 2025. DRAIN bring their beach town spirit wherever they play. Expect stage dives and sing-alongs, and be ready for an occasional beach ball in the pit. The lyrics cover topics like friendship, resilience and finding light in your darkest moments. Their message: you don’t have to act tough to belong. Earth Crisis
Vegan straight edge hardcore band Earth Crisis is about earth, human and animal liberation. Formed by a group of skateboarders in 1989 in Syracuse, New York, the band found their voice when Karl Buechner swapped his bass for a microphone. They released their first full-length album, “Destroy the Machines”, in 1995, featuring crushing low-tuned guitars, heavy breakdowns, and lyricism about industrial factory farming. Even though Earth Crisis was influenced mostly by metal bands, they remain a historic pillar in hardcore to this day. Earth Crisis separated on good terms in 2001, but reformed after a supposedly one-time show at Maryland Deathfest in 2007. Since then, the band has been thriving musically and never strays from their beliefs. Earth Crisis has inspired many to love a cruelty-free life, but at Jera on Air 2027 we will happily let them destroy the stage!
Fit For A King
With quite a few albums under their belt, Fit For A King are a well-known force in the metalcore scene. Razor-sharp riffs and crushing breakdowns are their daily cup of tea. The raw emotional intensity, combined with lyrics about personal struggles, hits hard from the first note. But this is exactly what draws you in: the delivery of heavy music with a purpose. Their latest album, “Lonely God”, follows this path, but also explores new territory, pushing their signature sound in fresh directions. Expect a mix of relentless heaviness, massive choruses and raw emotional punches. Over the years, the band has built a reputation for turning their live shows into an absolute assault on the senses. From Ashes to New
Bands change. Members come and go. But From Ashes to New has always had vocalist Matt Brandyberry. He is the founder and the only constant member since 2013. In recent years, the line-up has been pretty steady, and you can hear that in their music. The band mixes rap rock and nu-metal, drawing inspiration from Linkin Park, Papa Roach and Eminem. Their album “Reflections” came out in April 2026. Music magazine NINE:32 called it predictable but powerful: “The pace is high and the whole thing pounds on convincingly.” In September 2026, they followed it up with the new single “LOVE ME” and more to come. Expect a fast tempo, a heavy sound, rap verses and big choruses to shout along to. This is music made to hit hard and get the whole crowd moving. We’re ready to see them rise from the ashes on the Jera On Air 2027 stage. So, warm up your voice!
grandson
grandson is the stage name of Jordan Edward Benjamin, a singer, songwriter and rapper. He speaks out strongly, in his music and on stage, about political corruption, corporate greed and the destruction of the environment. One of his biggest hits, "Blood // Water", is about these topics. His newest album "INERTIA" came out in the autumn of 2025. Kerrang! gave it four out of five and wrote that his music is "far too urgent to ever get lost in the righteous noise." NINE:32 wrote in its review that he still packs his message in a way that is "straight to the point, sharply worded and socially relevant." Live, his shows hit hard. They feel like a protest with like-minded people, while you simply have the best time. Part protest, part party: that is a grandson show!
Guilt Trip
Originating from Manchester, United Kingdom, Guilt Trip has been playing stages since 2015. Their sold out show in October 2026 at TivoliVredenburg, proves Guilt Trip is a well-known and well-liked band. Classic hardcore, rough metal influence and surprising breakdowns feature on their latest album “Armour Of Angels”. Packed with relentless riffs and bone-crushing grooves, the record captures everything that makes Guilt Trip so dangerous, while pushing their sound into even heavier territory. Guilt Trip’s sound will make you want to move. At their live show, you won’t believe what’s coming your way. The energy is contagious and in no time you’ll be running around the moshpit, screaming and tossing your hands in the air.
Holder
For music fans seeking a young band with both ferocity and emotional depth, Holder is an exciting act to discover. Formed in Western Massachusetts in 2024, the rising five-piece blends screamo, post-hardcore, and metalcore. Drawing inspiration from bands such as This Day Forward, early Underøath, and Converge, they combine chaotic guitar riffs, crushing breakdowns, emotional intensity and passionate screams. Their self-titled debut EP introduced their raw, uncompromising sound, while the 2026 release “Ruin The Best Of Me”, marked a new chapter with vocalist Brie Percy. Her deeply personal lyrics explore family, personal struggles, and breaking destructive patterns. You do not want to miss seeing Holder’s live set because of their explosive energy, unpredictable shifts between melody and aggression, and emotionally charged performances. Their shows capture the intensity of underground hardcore while delivering a fresh take on early-2000s metalcore and screamo.
Humanity's Last Breath
Humanity’s Last Breath from Sweden has become a formidable force in extreme metal since forming in 2009. Led by guitarist, songwriter and producer Buster Odeholm, the band pushes the boundaries of deathcore with downtuned riffs, dissonant guitar work, complex rhythms and haunting atmospheric textures. Their sound balances technical precision with suffocating heaviness, shifting between punishing rhythmic assaults and ominous, cinematic passages to create something both brutal and otherworldly. With the release of their album “Ashen” in 2023, they pushed their signature sound into even darker and more abrasive territory. Jinjer
The Ukrainian powerhouse Jinjer has carved out its own lane within progressive metal. Blending crushing riffs, jazz, reggae, R&B, soul and unexpected melodies into a sound that hits hard and keeps you wondering what just happened. The jaw-dropping vocals and screams of Tatiana Shmayluk combine to create a magical sound. The band incorporated the war in Ukraine and many current themes in their releases, which makes it very powerful. With a worldwide following and tours alongside Slipknot, Sepultura and many more under their belt, Jinjer return to Jera On Air ready to deliver a live show that leaves no room to catch your breath.
John Coffey
The punk rock band has a reputation as one of the most explosive live acts in The Netherlands. Blending punk rock, post-hardcore and rock ‘n’ roll makes it one solid machine ready to tear everything up. After a hiatus from 2016 to 2023 the band released two albums, “FOUR” and “Not Alone”. Their latest album sheds light on themes like connection, solidarity and finding each other. Quite important things in times like these. But don’t get too sentimental, because you’ll need every ounce of energy to start running around and screaming in the moshpit. Or drink a beer while doing so, of course. In a John Coffey-moshpit, you’ll never feel alone for long. John Coffey will send the moshpit into absolute chaos. Definitely go enjoy this Dutch pride.
Kanonenfieber
Kanonenfieber is an anonymous blackened death metal band from Bamberg, Germany, with more than 236,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Their lyrics are all about World War I, with many songs inspired by real letters, diaries and documents written by soldiers, including the diary of the singer’s own great-grandfather. To preserve that sense of authenticity, the band sings exclusively in German, giving songs like “Menschenmühle”, “Sturmtrupp” and “Die Feuertaufe” a harsh, marching and theatrical feel. Metal.de described the style of their debut album as black/death metal and compared its atmosphere to 1914 and Bolt Thrower. Just a taste of what’s to come. Expect a heavy, dark and dramatic show. LOCKED SHUT
A popular SoundCloud rapper who now fronts a hardcore band? Yes, and believe us: it hits hard. LOCKED SHUT is a hardcore band from Columbia, Missouri, formed in 2023. Frontman Alex Kelly is also known for his successful solo career as Oliver Francis. The band plays metallic hardcore with a heavy Midwest style: fast, heavy and straightforward. Their debut album, “The New Chaos”, came out in 2024, and fans have been happily playing tracks like “Steel Spine” and “Me vs. a Brick Wall” on repeat. Their popularity keeps growing, and they completely sold out their first UK tour in the fall of 2026, with fans already demanding that they visit mainland Europe as well. Live, the shows are dirty, hard-hitting and full of that underground hardcore vibe. Expect a loud, raw set with no filter at all. This “new” chaos is coming to Jera On Air 2027, and you don’t want to miss it. So get them on your priority list!
Millencolin
Are you ready for a game of S.K.A.T.E..? Because the Swedish punk rock band Millencolin is the perfect soundtrack for any skating session. In 1992, the band formed from a group of skateboarder friends in the town of Örebro. Millencolin’s skate punk sound is raw, no-nonsense and influenced by ska punk. Their 2000 breakthrough album, “Pennybridge Pioneers”, had a more polished punk rock sound and was the first album to move away from their ska influences. The single “No Cigar” was featured in Tony Hawk’s Pro skater 2, a video game that came out on PlayStation later that year. It was a boost for Millencolin, and today “No Cigar” remains a true skateboarding anthem. Catch them at Jera On Air 2027 and expect nothing but fast guitar riffs, sing-alongs and an authentic punk mentality.
NOVELISTS
NOVELISTS is a French metalcore band from Paris, formed in 2013. Their sound is heavily inspired by progressive metal and djent, especially in their guitar work. The band has a history of changes behind the microphone. After saying goodbye to their previous singer, the band held open auditions and chose Camille Contreras in 2023 as the new frontwoman. She made her debut on the track “Turn It Up”, followed by the album “CODA” in 2025. Since then, NOVELISTS have continued to evolve and grow their fanbase worldwide. They have shared stages with The Devil Wears Prada, Knuckle Puck, Dance Gavin Dance and LANDMVRKS. In one of their recent live reviews, The Soundboard wrote that NOVELISTS are definitely worth your time at a show or festival. So, here we are. You’ve got your chance to see them at Jera On Air 2027, don’t miss out!
Path of Resistance
Born from the influential hardcore band Earth Crisis, Path of Resistance emerged in the mid-1990s. Channeling the raw aggression of traditional hardcore into metal-infused riffs, forceful vocals, and uncompromising lyrics. Formed while Earth Crisis drummer Dennis Merrick recovered from a serious van accident, the project became an expression of straight-edge principles, discipline, and personal conviction. Their 1996 debut album, “Who Dares Wins”, became an underground classic, capturing the intensity and collective spirit of the 1990s straight-edge scene. Path of Resistance returned with “Can’t Stop the Truth” in 2006, maintaining their confrontational sound and unwavering message. The band delivers relentless intensity, powerful group vocals, and a fierce connection to hardcore’s roots. Their performances embody the conviction, unity, and personal commitment that define the genre. Offering fans a direct connection to a vital chapter in hardcore history where music, principles, and community stand together.
RAT BOY
RAT BOY is the solo project of Jordan Cardy. It’s punk, it’s indie, it’s ska, and it’s hiphop. It’s one wild mix, yet the attitude is always pure punk. He turns suburban boredom, late night bus rides and small town chaos into catchy anthems you want to… No, you need to dance to! Summer 2026 was all about his new album, “CRASH!”. This summer, it’s festival time, and we’re very happy that Jera On Air is on the list. Expect a rowdy house party that can erupt at any moment, with crowd surfers, mosh pits and maybe even a dance battle. Expect the unexpected. Did the neighbours call the cops? Or are they here to party with us? Anyway, we’re more than ready for this party!
Restraining Order
Restraining Order has been bringing old-school hardcore punk into the present since forming in 2017. Inspired by pioneers like Minor Threat and Circle Jerks, the band fuses the raw aggression of early ’80s hardcore with breakneck rhythms, catchy riffs and infectious punk rock hooks. Rooted in the DIY ethos and underground community, they deliver uncompromising punk with a sharp sense of melody and an unmistakable independent spirit. Their 2023 release, “Locked In Time”, showcases their ability to balance relentless intensity with irresistible hooks while staying true to their hardcore roots. Live, Restraining Order unleash a force of pure adrenaline, combining rapid-fire songs, ferocious vocals and mosh-pit-ready energy into an experience that is raw, communal and unpredictable. Solance
Dance or mosh? At a Solence show, you don’t have to choose. This Swedish electronic rock band from Norrköping has released five albums and teamed up with As December Falls on the single “Nervous”. Their mix of electronic sounds, heavy rock guitars and pounding drums makes it hard to know what to do with your body. Should you dance or should you mosh? Both are allowed. A mix of the two is even better. The crowd moves in every direction, and nobody stands still when Solence takes the stage. Their song “Good Fucking Music” says it all: “All you need is just some good fucking music that you headbang to. To forget all your problems and what’s bothering you. So come on, raise the volume, it will soon feel good.” Jera On Air supports this message.
SPEED
Speed have become one of the biggest names in modern hardcore. The Sydney-based five-piece band formed in 2019 and became the first Australian hardcore act to play Coachella in 2025. They played several sold-out shows in the United Kingdom in April 2026. Their debut album “Only One Mode” won the Australian ARIA Award for Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album. Vocalist Jem Siow is a classically trained flautist, and the flute breakdown in the fan favourite “The First Test” is an iconic part that every hardcore fan will know. Their lyrics cover loyalty and community, and sometimes show the band at their most vulnerable. At a Speed show, expect crowd surfers and a low, drawn-out “Speed” chant between songs. It's a room full of friends. With Speed in it's lineup, Jera On Air 2027 will be accelerating!
Static-X
Formed in Los Angeles in 1994, Static-X became a defining force in industrial metal. Blending crushing guitar riffs, electronic sounds, and mechanical rhythms into their signature style: Evil Disco. Fronted by the iconic Wayne Static, the band rose to fame in 1999 with their platinum-certified debut album, “Wisconsin Death Trip”, featuring hits like “Push It” and “I'm with Stupid.”Following lineup changes and Wayne Static’s tragic death in 2014, founding members Tony Campos, Koichi Fukuda, and Ken Jay revived the band in 2018 with masked vocalist Xer0. They honor Wayne’s legacy while introducing their music to a new generation. Static-X remains a powerful live act, delivering explosive performances, relentless energy, and industrial metal anthems. Seeing them live at Jera On Air 2027 is an opportunity to experience their unmistakable sound, celebrate Wayne Static’s enduring influence, and witness a band keeping the spirit of Evil Disco alive for longtime fans and newcomers alike.
Sunami
In 2019, four members of various San Francisco Bay Area hardcore bands came up with an idea for a parody band: Sunami. They planned to play only three shows, where they would mimic many beatdown hardcore bands and their “low intelligence” stage presence. Their famous eight-minute EP release show at a Halloween party gained so much traction that various festivals wanted to book them. Sunami eventually gave in and, after the release of a self-titled EP and the pandemic, played their long-awaited DIY show in 2021, attracting thousands of visitors. Sunami has since evolved into a tight, high-intensity hardcore band that, while still including satire, delivers the rowdy riffs you secretly craved. At Jera On Air 2027, Sunami is the band to carelessly windmill your way into pure chaos!
Terminal Sleep
Terminal Sleep is a heavy band from Melbourne, Australia. They are unapologetic about their fierce style, a melting pot of heavy music that champions self-empowerment, gender equality and the importance of mental health. Early 2026, the band had to cancel shows because drummer Todd Tombleson needed surgery for a spinal injury. They told fans they would come back stronger than ever with new music on the horizon. 2027 looks to be the year they return to the spotlight, and maybe we’ll even hear some new music in their live set. Expect a loud and fearless show. As one fan on their Facebook page put it: “They make me want to give my neck a nice workout.” After a year without touring, they’ll have plenty of energy to unleash. Jera On Air is ready for their comeback, so you’d better bring a strong neck!
The Dreadnoughts
Canadian band The Dreadnoughts started playing folk punk in 2007 with one goal: to earn enough money at shows to pay for shots of Fireball whiskey at Vancouver’s seedy Ivanhoe Hotel. Wage War
Within the metalcore scene, bands are always coming and going, rising or falling, and either finding or losing their signature sound. Wage War, however, is one of those bands that keep experimenting without straying from their original sound. The Florida five-piece formed in Ocala in 2010 and signed to Fearless Records in 2015. That year they released their debut album “Blueprints”, laying the foundation for Wage War: tight guitar work, clean production and Briton Bond’s harsh, rumbling voice. The band gained mainstream success in 2017 with their second album, “Deadweight”, followed by further chart success. In October 2026, they released their sixth full-length album, “Landfall”. The album is heavily influenced by nu-metal, contains various electronic elements, and just works. This album shows that Wage War play with such confidence, that everything clicks. Walls of Jericho
The American metalcore band Walls of Jericho mixes old-school hardcore, thrash metal and heavy breakdowns. The deep growls, delivered by Candace Buckingham, give the band their authentic sound. The Detroit band formed in 1998, at a time when not many women fronted heavy bands, and people claimed that the band was a gimmick. They proved them wrong with their 2004 album “All Hail the Dead”. This led to them touring as a support act for Mastodon and Fear Factory, followed by their own US tour. They reached number 24 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart with “With Devils Amongst Us All”. The band’s most recent work is “System Error: Humanity”, their sixth full-length album and their first release in ten years. According to Buckingham, it’s their most aggressive record yet: Walls of Jericho is ready to dominate Jera On Air 2027!
