You could describe Imminence as a Swedish alternative metalcore outfit that uses violins and classical string arrangements. This is factually true, but it doesn’t quite capture the energy and feeling of what the band brings to the stage. Even without the use of string instruments, the ferocious breakdowns and atmospheric passages would have made Imminence standout. The band has released four albums.
