Kanonenfieber

Kanonenfieber is an anonymous blackened death metal band from Bamberg, Germany, with more than 236,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Their lyrics are all about World War I, with many songs inspired by real letters, diaries and documents written by soldiers, including the diary of the singer’s own great-grandfather. To preserve that sense of authenticity, the band sings exclusively in German, giving songs like “Menschenmühle”, “Sturmtrupp” and “Die Feuertaufe” a harsh, marching and theatrical feel.
