Architects
Architects have already passed their 20-year milestone and in that time have grown from underground favorites into stadium-filling pioneers. This past November, the band played one of the biggest venues in the Netherlands and once again left a crushing impression. Their live shows are not only musically powerful, but also a full visual spectacle. It’s no coincidence that we’re proudly presenting them as a headliner for Jera On Air 2026! With their new album “The Sky, The Earth & All Between”, Architects delivers another massive dose of metalcore infused with post-metal and prog, layered with heavy electronic elements. And if you’re not familiar yet, check out some of their biggest tracks: “Doomsday”, “Hereafter”, “Animals” and “When We Were Young”. Architects are set to bring the festival day to a crushing end!
The Offspring
Since the 90‘s, The Offspring have been delivering the raw energy of Californian punk rock. They are known for explosive shows full of energy, humor, and sing-along anthems. With more than 40 million albums sold and classics like “Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)”, “Self Esteem”, “Come Out and Play”, and “The Kids Aren’t Alright”, they grew into one of the defining punk bands of their generation. In addition, The Offspring’s music has appeared in countless video games and films. Their breakthrough album “Smash” from 1994 remains the best-selling independent punk album of all time. Expect circle pits, jokes, nostalgia, and pure punk rock. This is the band that still sets every festival stage on fire.
Papa Roach
Few bands have left such a lasting mark on heavy music with their own sound as Papa Roach. What started in a garage in California grew into a global phenomenon when “Last Resort” became the soundtrack of a generation. But Papa Roach is much more than that one anthem: with albums like “Infest”, “Getting Away with Murder” and “F.E.A.R.” they’ve consistently pushed the boundaries between rock, metal and rap. Their live shows are notorious for their intensity. Frontman Jacoby Shaddix gives every ounce of energy, connecting with the crowd in a way that feels personal and electrifying at the same time. Expect anthems that shaped the 2000s, emotional singalongs and the relentless drive of a band that refuses to slow down. Papa Roach is here to give it all and so should you!
A Day To Remember
Over twenty years ago, A Day to Remember was just getting started. Through relentless touring, they built a fierce live reputation and a loyal fanbase. Today, they’re a household name and a source of inspiration for a whole new generation of bands. A Day to Remember sells out the biggest venues all over the world and knows better than anyone how to blend heavy riffs, melodic choruses, and mosh pits into one massive party. From huge sing-alongs to crushing breakdowns, their shows are pure chaos — in the best possible way. With albums like “Homesick”, “What Separates Me from You” and “You’re Welcome”, and anthems such as “The Downfall of Us All” and “All I Want”, A Day to Remember guarantees a loud, sweaty, and unforgettable time in any festival tent!
All Time Low
All Time Low has grown into a staple of the poppunk scene. It’s been a while since the band last played in the Netherlands, but in 2026 you’ll get the chance to see them not once, but twice! After headlining at Tilburg’s 013, they will also take the Jera On Air tent by storm. By then, you’ll probably have worn out their new album “EVERYONE’S TALKING”, so there’s no excuse not to sing along at the top of your lungs. Of course, you can also expect the classic All Time Low hits like “Dear Maria, Count Me In” and “Weightless“. Their shows are often just as much comedy as music, packed with silly jokes and chaos between songs. Either way, this will be a real party you don’t want to miss!
Hatebreed
The American Hatebreed has been present for 30 years, and has grown into one of the most trusted pioneers within the hardcore and metalcore scene. With ten albums to their name, the band is rock solid and brings younger and older fans together. Inspired by oldschool hardcore bands, Hatebreed leads you into heavy breakdowns and fast drums. The experienced musicians prove that you can have a metal side and a punk side. They deliver straight to the point hardcore with a clear message. On stage there is lots to see: if you can survive the moshpit, Hatebreed’s energy will blow you away anyway!
Ice Nine Kills
Ice Nine Kills is an American heavy metal band from Boston, Massachusetts. The band's music is primarily described as horror-themed metalcore, but incorporates many other musical styles. It was originally a ska punk band called Ice Nine, formed in 2000 by high school friends Spencer Charnas and Jeremy Schwartz, before adopting a metalcore style in 2010. Charnas is currently the only remaining founding member. The band is signed to Fearless Records.
Rise Against
Rise Against is known as one of the most successful modern punk bands with millions of albums sold worldwide. The band is characterized by its clear activist message in both its music and on stage. Their songs are often used in protests and social campaigns, and fans consider the band a “voice of resistance.” In the summer of 2025, Rise Against released a new album: “Ricochet”. Music magazine NINE:32 called it not groundbreaking, but still very strong, as can be expected from the band. With their extensive discography, the set at Jera On Air 2026 promises a mix of new and classic material. This band knows its mission and delivers a tight performance with a message!
Viagra Boys
The Swedish post punk band Viagra Boys has been inevitable on social media and festival line-ups. They formed in 2015 in Stockholm, but have covered a big part of the world with their uni-que dance and garage influences. With the singles “Sports” and “Punk Rock Loser”, they stand strong within the post punk scene. Their newest album “viagr aboys”, released in 2025, once again contains quirky and freaky elements and lyrics. Vocalist Sebastian Murphy writes about the absurdity of far-right politics, toxic masculinity and conspiracy theories. He also adds satire and irony and he definitely doesn’t forget to bring these to their live shows. With sunglasses on and a can of beer in his hand, he strongly shows off his many tattoos. Don’t miss this show at Jera On Air 2026, because Viagra Boys transforms the crowd into a complete chaos!
Trivium
Since forming in 1999, American metal giants Trivium have become a cornerstone of the modern metal scene. The band has long mastered the art of blending heavy metal with elements of metalcore, thrash and melodic metal: a fusion that has become unmistakably their own. Vocalist Matt Heafy draws heavily from mythology, history and social themes in his lyrics, which the band accentuates instrumentally with razor-sharp precision. Their most recent EP, “Struck Dead“, was hailed by Kerrang! as “brutally heavy and brutally good.” Live, Trivium operates like a perfectly oiled machine: tight, energetic and monumental. Time and again, they prove why they belong to the elite of modern metal. A performance you absolutely don’t want to miss at Jera On Air 2026!
Alexisonfire
Alexisonfire is widely regarded as one of the most influential bands from the early-2000s post-hardcore wave. Formed in 2001 in Canada, the band quickly conquered the world. “This Could Be Anywhere In the World,” taken from their 2006 album “Crisis“, remains a fan favourite and has accumulated more than 67 million streams on Spotify. Their newer work continues to show their evolution as musicians, consistently reaching post-hardcore enthusiasts around the globe. Their set at Jera On Air promises to be explosive, blending old classics with fresh material. Even after more than twenty years, Alexisonfire still plays with the same ferocity as if they intend to burn every stage to the ground.
Alkaline Trio
For nearly 30 years, punk rock band Alkaline Trio has maintained its unique sound and identity. The band was founded in 1996 by guitarist and vocalist Matt Skiba, and bassist and vocalist Dan Adriano joined a year later. Their combined voices make Alkaline Trio what it is. In 2024, the band released its tenth studio album, "Blood, Hair, And Eyeballs," and thus boasts an impressive discography. Alkaline Trio thrives on the dark and macabre. This is reflected not only in their signature heart and skull logo, but also in their lyrics. Topics such as depression, death, and alcoholism regularly crop up. Consider, for example, the title track of their album, "This Addiction," which uses the drug heroin as a metaphor for love. Are you ready to surrender to the darkness?
Allt
Allt is a young Swedish band that kicked things off in 2020. With two EPs and debut album “From the New World”, the band has made a strong impact on the modern alternative scene. Their sound can be described as fierce metalcore with tight riffs, explosive breakdowns, and a dark industrial vibe. ‘Allt’ means ‘everything’ in Swedish, which fits perfectly with the band’s mindset and the way they approach their music: the band gives it their all and effortlessly blends a wide range of heavy genres. They’re known for intense live shows where aggression and precision hit at the same time. At Jera On Air 2026 Allt is going to prove why they’re a band you don’t want to miss!
Annisokay
Annisokay (stylized in lowercase) is a German post-hardcore band from Halle, Saxony-Anhalt. Since their formation, they have built a steady discography and a strong reputation within the European alternative scene. And now they're back at Jera On Air 2026! [Nog toevoegen aan timetable en tekst is iets van internet]
Basement
Basement is back! The English rockband released their breaktrough album “Colourmeinkindness” back in 2012, which was loved by critics. The band was used to taking breaks from touring, but in 2019 they were absent for a longer time, except from some anniversary shows. The loyal fanbase unfortunately had to wait until the band returned in 2024. Now the band is flying through tour data and picking up fans along the way. Basement combines alt-rock, emo and grunge with razor-sharp lyrics that don’t leave your mind. Expect nothing less but tight riffs, lots of energy and an emotional touch.
Belvedere
Belvedere delivers razor-sharp old-school skate punk with modern precision. If you’re even remotely familiar with the punk scene, you can’t ignore Steve Rawles and his bandmates. The band, formed in 1995, is still cited as an inspiration by many punk bands today. Their technically strong punk, with high speed and ultra-tight riffs, often sounds even faster and tighter live than on the record, earning praise from fans everywhere. Although Rawles remains the only original member and half the band was replaced in 2019, Belvedere continues to stay firmly on course. In May 2021, they released their most recent album: “Hindsight Is the Sixth Sense”. A record that, according to Deal Radio, hits the nail on the head today: “In a nutshell, Belvedere has nailed it. It’s a fucking rad record with its combination of skate rock harmonies and sing-along choruses. I reckon it will have the youth of today galvanised and ready to stand beside them as they revolt against the machine.“ Fists in the air and make sure to go full throttle at Jera On Air 2026!
Bob Vylan
Bob Vylan burst out of the United Kingdom and into the world in 2017 as a duo that challenges genres, breaks boundaries, and never holds back. The band members, known as Bobby Vylan and Bobbie Vylan, fuse grime, punk rock, hardcore, reggae, and spoken word into a sound that’s raw. Their lyrics hit hard: racism, inequality, toxic masculinity, power games, police violence, nothing is left unspoken. The duo does everything themselves: producing, mixing, mastering, and releasing through their own label Ghost Theatre. With tracks like “Bait the Bear” and “We Live Here”, they’ve already made a serious impact. Bob Vylan holds up a mirror and demands people to wake up, presenting their own political and social vision, socially accepted or not. At Jera On Air, Bob Vylan promises a show that shocks and liberates. Expect mosh pits, fists in the air, and lyrics that will haunt you for days.
Boundaries
Boundaries stands for relentless, emotional metalcore. The band, formed in 2013 in Conneticut in the United States, blends crushing riffs and punishing breakdowns. Their honest lyrics come straight from the gut. With their two most recent singles, “LOOKING GLASS” and “LIGHTS OUT”, Boundaries is making a strong impression. The bands they’ve toured with in the past, including The Amity Affliction, perfectly match their vibe. At Jera On Air 2026, you can expect a seriously heavy set, a sweaty pit and energy at full blast. Perfect for anyone who loves heavy music with a real emotional touch!
Bury Tomorrow
Bury Tomorrow is no stranger to our beloved festival. We’ve welcomed the band from Southampton several times already and in 2026 they’ll be back once again! In the summer of 2025, the guys released a new record: “Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience”. An album that critics were pretty much unanimous about: strong, and a record that shows exactly what the band is capable of. “They nailed it again with their seventh album. They have made better albums, but it’s strong enough to keep their place and that’s right at the top,” wrote a reviewer from GRIMM. We might even hear some new music during Jera On Air, but one thing is certain: you can expect nothing less than top quality from Bury Tomorrow!
Catch Your Breath
Catch Your Breath doesn’t like to put themselves in a box and constantly experiments with pushing genre boundaries. Think alternative metalcore infused with pop-driven vocals and electronic elements. The American band spent years searching for their own sound, going through multiple lineup changes along the way. In 2023, Catch Your Breath released their debut album “Shame On Me”. Single “Dial Tone” marked a breakthrough in the band’s popularity, thanks to its success on TikTok. They actively use social media to expand their international reach and aim to be a band that's heavy enough for the underground, yet accessible to a wider audience. Live shows are key to connecting with their fans, so make sure to catch them at Jera On Air 2026!
Combust
Attention, fans of old-school New York hardcore! Combust is ready to blow you away. The band released their debut album, "Another Life," in March 2022. Exactly three years later, their brand-new album, "Belly Of The Beast," saw the light of day. The record features several guest appearances like members of Terror and Mindforce, and it's clear where Combust gets its inspiration. Prepare yourself for an energetic show, full of in-your-face hardcore and filthy mosh pits. Combust will undoubtedly leave a trail of destruction at Jera On Air 2026.
Converge
One of the pioneers of metalcore is undoubtedly Converge. The band is seen as highly influential in the hardcore and metalcore scenes, known for their intense and explosive sound that blends elements of these musical styles. Converge formed in 1990 and their legendary 2001 album “Jane Doe” is often considered a milestone within the genre. They inject technical virtuosity and complex structures into their music, earning a loyal fanbase through their raw, emotionally charged music and energetic live performances. Their work has influenced countless other bands, and their impact on the hardcore and metal world is immense. This is yet another legendary band you won’t want to miss at Jera On Air 2026!
Desolated
With the new album “Finding Peace” fresh from the studio, Desolated is ready to blow Ysselsteyn away. The quintet from Southampton delivers the most brutal hardcore since 2007, and is proving itself within the British hardcore scene. Slow riffs and low grunts are supported by the fierce drums by drummer Charlie Thorpe, who also plays in fellow band Malevolence. Frustration about topics such as mental health, political changes and addiction will be expressed at Jera on Air 2026. If not afraid: join the pit, because it’s two-stepping time!
Destroy Boys
Vocalist Alexia Roditis and guitarist Violet Mayugba were only fifteen years old when they started as a punk rock duo back in 2015. Ever since, Destroy Boys has become a full punk band that has been evolving their sound for over a decade. The foursome from Sacramento, United States, has released four studio albums. They opened for bands like blink-182 and Mannequin Pussy. The punk sound that Destroy Boys delivers is old-school and rebellious. Their last album, “Funeral Soundtrack #4”, lyrically explores more about gender identity, which is one of their main themes. Destroy Boys is expressive and fun, as are their live shows. Don’t miss this gig!
Distant
In 2014, the deathcoreband Distant forms in Rotterdam along with members from Slovakia. More than 10 years later, the band is indispensable in the deathcorescene in the Netherlands. The 2021 album “Aeons of Oblivion” caused their breakthrough. Their most recent album “Heritage” features members from bands such as Suicide Silence, Emmure and Lorna Shore. Distant is truly brutal. Their downtempo deathcore blends with a variety of guitarsounds and breakdowns. Vocalist Alan Grnja grunts lower than the bass tuning and screams higher than the screeching guitar solos. Distant’s chaos and rage are addictive, and even on stage the band never stops. Expect a ruthless moshpit or a stiff neck from headbanging, because Distant guarantees brute noise along with lots of fun!
Dog Eat Dog
The hardcore punk group Dog Eat Dog forms in 1990 in Bergen, New Jersey, and quickly conquers the east coast of The United States. Their music contains elements from the nu-metal subgenre, the hip-hop scene and there is lots of rapping. For their first oversees tour, Dog Eat Dog was mentored by none less than hardcore punk band Bad Brains. Right after, the band gains mainstream attention with their album “All Boro Kings”. The saxophone usage in several songs is a trademark for the band’s sound. The group shared stages with bands like Rage Against The Machine and Metallica and knows how to win over an audience. For now, Dog Eat Dog is ready to play at Jera on Air 2026!
Dying Wish
The American band Dying Wish is not only a metalcore magician, but also a hardcore emperor and political partisan. The band formed in 2016 in Portland. Their 2021 debut album “Fragments of a Bitter Memory” marked an important point in their musical career. To this day, the band keeps collecting new members for their fanbase. The new album “Flesh Stays Together” appeared in September 2025 and vocalist Emma Boston lets her grunts out again over the melodic metalcore sound. “Flesh Stays Together” is well received by fans and by critics as a true power record, and you can surely expect the same power at their show at Jera On Air 2026!
End It
The fast, rough character of the hardcore punk band End It is upcoming within the hardcore scene. The band from Baltimore releases their first studio album “Wrong Side of Heaven” in the summer of 2025. End It performed on Jera on Air 2024, but this year they are back with new music! End It has the sound of old school hardcore and punk, especially because of the crunchy riffs and production. Their music contains trash elements, and even some soul parts. Vocalist Akil Godsey delivers his lyrics with a natural aggression and a bit of insanity. This makes the band unique and energetic, on record as well as on stage. Be on time for the show, because the band has an opening ritual: Akil sings a random song, before End it totally wrecks the stage!
Fiddlehead
Every Fiddlehead show is a rare occasion, as the band doesn’t tour often. In 2026, they’ll take the stage at Jera On Air and trust us, this is one you don’t want to miss! Musically, they move within the post-hardcore spectrum: combining aggressive hardcore elements with melody, emotion, and hooks. Their live shows are often described as unforgettable and deeply moving. Fiddlehead is made up of members from other prominent hardcore bands such as Have Heart and Basement. Thanks to their roots in the hardcore scene, they bring an intense live energy and effortlessly balance raw power with heartfelt emotion. Frontman Patrick Flynn is also a full-time history teacher, which explains why Fiddlehead isn’t a full-time touring band. Making it extra special that we get to welcome them to Ysselsteyn this summer!
Free Throw
Free Throw is an American emo punk band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2012. The band's lyrics address themes that many people can relate to, such as mental struggles, insecurity, and growing up. This makes Free Throw authentic: their music and lyrics reflect real emotions, making their songs meaningful to many fans. The band has released five studio albums, the most recent of which, "Lessons That We Swear to Keep," was released in 2023. Free Throw combines emo and punk aesthetics with melody and accessibility. Raw and honest, yet catchy and relatable. The band is known for its close bond with fans, which is also evident during their live shows. They always feel intimate and provide the space to scream out all your worries.
Get the Shot
After 16 years, Canadian metalcore band Get the Shot parted ways with vocalist Jean-Philippe Lagacé in 2025. The band members don't seem to entirely agree on the reasons behind this, but the fact remains that Get the Shot will perform at Jera On Air 2026 with guitarist Olivier Roy on vocals. This is a band that exudes anger and darkness, which is clearly audible on their latest album, "Merciless Destruction." With titles like "Reign in Blasphemy" and "Diabolus Vobiscum," this could easily be an ode to the underworld.
Gridiron
When you listen to hardcore band Gridiron, you’ll hear lots of hip-hop and metal influences. This is not uncommon in the hardcore scene in Pennsylvania, where the band originates. After lots of Call of Duty sessions during lockdown, the group of five gets the idea to casually record some music. They like the heavy sound of Pennsylvania hardcore and want to combine it with 90’s rap. Gridiron succeeds without a doubt, because the band has transformed into a group of experienced musicians. Their last album “Poetry from Pain” is rough, well produced, and contains some nu-metal influences. Gridiron’s aesthetic is threatening and their rap lines are convincing. The band focuses on the core of hardcore: to turn everything in life that brings you down into contagious aggression and to conquer a venue or festival stage!
Harms Way
Harms Way started in 2006 “just for fun” as a side project of the straight-edge band Few and the Proud. In the early years, they played fast, short, power violence tracks, but Harm’s Way has since grown into a serious band with its own distinctive sound. The band combines metal, industrial, and hardcore into a unique blend, making them beloved by a wide audience. Their evolution from power violence to more complex, darker sounds is often praised. This shift in genres is particularly evident on the 2015 album “Rust,” which made them stand out within the hardcore scene. Harm’s Way is also certainly known for their intense live performances; the power they radiate from the stage is often described by critics and contributes to the band’s reputation.
Haywire
Haywire (online also spelled as Haywire 617) from Boston is the hardest touring hardcore band of the moment. The band is young and ambitious, combining old-school hardcore with a modern day mentality. Haywire is relatively new and released their debut album, "Conditioned for Demolition," in 2024. The album is only 19 minutes long, and in that time, you'll be bombarded with eleven hard-hitting hardcore tracks. Each one is great for singing along, with mostly lighthearted lyrics. Haywire is known for their energetic live shows, where the mosh pits are so intense it's almost dangerous. Haywire is a must-see in the contemporary hardcore scene and you absolutely don't want to miss it at Jera On Air 2026!
Heriot
Heriot has toured with bands like Jinjer, Trivium and Thy Art Is Murder, winning over new fans at every support show. Their music fuses metalcore, sludge and noise into a suffocating, crushing sonic sound. Dual vocalists Debbie Gough and Jake Packer create an intense, claustrophobic dynamic, backed by a rhythm section that makes every track feel like the ground is shaking beneath your feet. Their debut release “Profound Morality“ received widespread critical acclaim: “‘Profound Morality‘ is an example of modern metalcore that pushes boundaries while setting new standards in exhilarating sonic extremity.” It’s no surprise that Heriot is considered one of the most talked-about new metal bands from the United Kingdom. Expect a dark, massive show with a wall of sound that swallows you whole and spits you out. We can’t wait to see you in the pit!
Ho99o9
Get ready for a brutal assault on your senses, because Ho99o9 - pronounced as horror - is coming to Jera On Air! This explosive band from the United States blurs the lines between hardcore punk and industrial hiphop like no one else. With their relentless energy, aggressive sound, raw performances and impressive outfits, they’ll drag you into their world. Ho99o9 is known for their intense live shows: wild, unpredictable, and in your face. Think Death Grips meets Black Flag, with a touch of Nine Inch Nails, but on full throttle. They don’t just bring heavy music, they bring a message: angry, politically charged, and brutally honest. Their latest album “Tomorrow We Escape” fits perfectly with their vibe. Brace yourself, because Jera On Air will not be spared.
Hollywood Undead
By 2026, social media platforms like TikTok are impossible to ignore, but for Hollywood Undead, it all started on MySpace. The group is among the most successful acts ever to break through via that platform. With their unique blend of hip-hop, metal, and electronic influences, they’ve secured their place in the alternative scene. Their music is a mix of aggression and infectious energy, spiced with a touch of sarcasm. The members are known for their masked performances, with each band member embodying a distinct character and mask. This concept, originally inspired by rap crews and comic books, has become a defining part of who they are. With over four million monthly listeners on Spotify, Hollywood Undead is an act you definitely don’t want to miss!
Ignite
The Californian harcore band Ignite has been making rough, old-school music consistently since 1993. Ignite has a unique melodic sound, causing a metalcore touch. Their lyrics are mostly about social injustice and climate change, and their donations to non-profit organisations never pause. Their 2000 breakthrough album “A Place Called Home” has an iconic sound because of Zoli Téglás’ voice. When the singer got replaced by Eli Santana, the fanbase was doubtful about Ignite’s deliverance. Their 2022 self-titled album, however, proves that Eli’s rough voice is a worthy addition. Without losing their authentic base, Ignite is more inclusive and passionate than ever. And you will feel this at their live shows!
Imminence
From the south of Sweden comes Imminence, a band that gives metalcore their own twist and takes it to another level. What sets them apart in the metalcore landscape is their unique blend of crushing riffs and symphonic elements. Add the powerful screams of frontman Eddie Berg, who also plays the violin, and you’ve got the full package. Imminence delivers an immersive experience: from earth-shaking breakdowns to cinematic melodies that give you goosebumps. Expect a show that hits you both physically and emotionally. Since their formation in 2009, Imminence has released multiple albums, so the setlist will be a rich mix drawn from their extensive discography.
Jaya the Cat
The music of Jaya the Cat is a mix of reggae, ska, punk, rock, and whatever other genre they feel like throwing into the blender. Their original sound is often described as “drunk reggae punk.” So having a beer in hand definitely isn’t out of place at a Jaya the Cat show. During their set in 2024, the band’s bartender handed out shots to the crowd — straight from the bottle. The show was a huge party, and by the end, a big part of the audience had climbed onto the stage to dance. Wise words from the band: “When life gives you lemons, just make gin and tonics.” Nothing but good vibes with Jaya the Cat!
King 810
If you speak about intense vocals, you must speak about King 810. This metal band from Flint, Michigan, will definitely convince you with their lyrics about darkness, death and hell. In these lyrics lays a dark truth, because the band draws inspiration from growing up in a criminal area. For King 810, classic nu-metal influences are just the beginning. David Gunn’s vocal style is described as “heavy metal poetry” and he delivers an aggressive message. These metal pioneers have been active since 2007 and have six studio albums to their name. In their early years, the band was banned from playing in several clubs, because the shows caused too much chaos. Can Jera on Air 2026 handle it?
La Dispute
Since their formation in 2004, La Dispute has grown into one of the most distinctive and influential names in post-hardcore scene. The American band blends raw intensity with poetic depth, fusing post-hardcore with elements of emo, screamo, and spoken word. Frontman Jordan Dreyer doesn’t write conventional lyrics, but instead crafts narrative, almost cinematic stories that hit just as hard live as they do on record. This literary approach is no coincidence: the band’s name is based on an 18th-century novel by Pierre de Marivaux. In September 2025, La Dispute released their first album in six years, “No One Was Driving the Car.” This concept record explores themes of existential uncertainty and societal disillusionment. Early 2026, La Dispute already returned to the Netherlands as part of their European club tour and it clearly left audiences wanting more. Expect an intense live show that feels like an emotional outburst: raw, immersive, and unforgettable!
Madball
Say New York hardcore, and you think Madball. The band has been around since the late 1980s and started as a side project of members of Agnostic Front. Frontman Freddy Cricien was just a teenager when he became Madball's permanent vocalist and quickly learned to stand on his own two feet. The band has become one of the best-known and most influential bands in the genre and has always been a representative of the NYHC brotherhood. Their performances, artwork, and attitude emphasize "unity, respect, and loyalty." This has earned the band a worldwide fanbase both within and outside of hardcore. Madball is known for shows that are not only energetic but also highly interactive. The band is considered one of the most authentic live bands in hardcore; no frills, just pure fire.
Magnolia Park
Magnolia Park is the new force within the pop punk and emo scene, and they’re ready to blow Jera On Air away. These five musicians from Orlando blend pop punk, emo, hiphop, and even a touch of metalcore. This creates a sound that’s both energetic and catchy. Think shout-along choruses and crushing riffs. With their debut album “Baku’s Revenge”, they immediately proved this. They also showed they’re not afraid to tackle sensitive themes such as mental health, racism and personal struggle. Their newest conceptalbum “VAMP” takes the music to a higher level. It makes you dive deep into the world of storytelling and transports you into a futuristic setting. The band also collaborated with artists such as Kellin Quinn and iamjakehill. In 2024 they recorded a cover of the song “I2I” for Disney’s “A Whole New Sound album”. On this album you can find the band between great names like Simple Plan and Tokio Hotel. When you attend a Magnolia Park show, you’ll witness pure energy in human form: jumping, shouting along, and letting everything go, together. Don’t miss this show, because this is the band that will make your festival summer unforgettable.
Malevolence
Meet the Britisch harcoreband Malevolence. The band was formed in 2010, but captures the spotlight in 2020 when they release their single “Keep Your Distance” with Knocked Loose’s Bryan Garris. After the pandemic their popularity explodes. The band tours through Europe, The United States and Australia to open for Trivium. Not a year later they share the stage with Architects. In Malevolence’s crowd you’ll see metalheads as well as hardcore kids, because the band is a fascinating mix between these genres. For 15 years, the band has been connecting and convincing with their oldschool guitar solos and brutal breakdowns. In their live shows, vocalist Alex Taylor’s banter gets the crowd ready for his harsh grunts and their hasty sound. You should definitely check this out: Malevolence’s men know for sure what they’re doing!
Melrose Avenue
Australian band Melrose Avenue launched in 2021 as an online project and quickly built a massive social media fanbase. The band blends heavy metal and rock elements with melodic lyrics and poppy hooks. Melrose Avenue is one of the most-viewed Australian acts in its genre on TikTok. The band released their first single, "Enemy," in 2022, and more quickly followed. In 2025, Melrose Avenue revealed a softer side with the single "This Is The End." Singer Vlado Saric: "As we progress as an act, we wanted to show our audience there is another dimension to Melrose Avenue. […] This is probably as open as you’ll ever get with me”. Their first European tour at the end of 2025 sold out within 72 hours, so make sure you're there (again) at Jera On Air 2026!
Mouth Culture
The passionate rock trio Mouth Culture from Leicester starts in 2018 with making music as an outlet for their daily formalities as young adults. Mouth Culture tours in England and gets recognized by While She Sleeps vocalist Loz Taylor when they open for them in 2023. Loz is so impressed by the band and their willpower, that he becomes their manager right away. The members of Mouth Culture are best friends and share their musical instincts. The fact that they lived together for years makes them authentic and honest, which you can see on stage. They bring you back in time with their nostalgic indie tracks and their poppunk bangers throw you back into reality. And a show that impresses even Loz Taylor? That promises a lot!
Nevertel
The three‑piece band Nevertel was born out of a close friendship and a shared love for music. Together, they create a sound packed with EDM‑style builds, electronic textures, and hard‑hitting breakdowns. Their music clearly shows influences from bands like Linkin Park and Bring Me the Horizon. Three albums in, the name Nevertel has become a guarantee for a large streaming audience and strong live shows. Their music is made for singing along, screaming your lungs out, and shaking every limb you’ve got. Their sound is very tight. The mix of vocals and rap from Jeremy Michael and Raul Lopez pulls you straight into the burst of energy they unleash. You don’t just listen to Nevertel, you’re definitely going to feel it.
Pennywise
Pennywise has proven for over thirty years that punk only gets louder and that their message remains as relevant as ever. When the band released the album “Never Gonna Die” in 2018, reviewers noted that it felt like the Californians had returned to their roots: fast, fierce, and timely. With songs like “American Lies” and “Live While You Can”, Pennywise shows that their social and political critique is still razor-sharp. Even older material remains relevant: the single “Fuck Authority”, originally released in 2001, has now been streamed over 85 million times on Spotify. Classics like this and “Bro Hymn” guarantee massive singalongs during live shows. On top of that, Pennywise combines raw energy with a sense of unity, making every performance feel like a collective battle cry.
Periphery
All the way from Washington D.C. comes Periphery, with a fresh dose of gripping progressive metal. Since the release of their debut album in 2010, the rockers have been experimenting with various melodies and complex riffs. By now, they are amongst the pioneers of modern progressive metal. They like to color outside the lines of this genre, and introduce metalcore elements into their music. Spencer Sotelo’s unique voice is as much power and beauty as it is chaos and anger. This is one of the reasons why the band keeps improving. From Periphery, you can expect a clean show, where the notes hit you just right and the dreamy melodies keep you mesmerised!
Quicksand
The influential post-hardcore band Quicksand is playing Jera On Air in 2026! Founded in 1990, the band is known for its intense blend of hardcore punk, alternative metal, and dynamic melodic structures. Vocalist and founder Walter Schreifels previously played in bands like Gorilla Biscuits and Youth of Today. This experience helped shape Quicksand's sound. Their 1993 debut album "Slip" has become a classic in the post-hardcore scene. Quicksand has experienced some tensions over the years, leading to several breakups. In 2012, the band was supposed to reunite for a one-off show, but this turned out to be the beginning of a reunion! After a whopping 22 years without new music, the comeback album "Interiors" was released in 2017, followed by "Distant Populations" in 2021. Expect their live show to contain the comfort classics and newer bangers!
Rain City Drive
The American band Rain City Drive originated in 2020, but was previously known as Slaves. The name change marked a fresh, positive start, and since the rebranding, the band has sounded more accessible and confident. In the meantime, Rain City Drive has released three albums: “To Better Days“, “Rain City Drive“, and “Things Are Different Now“. Strong streaming numbers and a clearly growing international fanbase prove that the band continues to impress, despite the changes. Rain City Drive is recognized as a post-hardcore and alternative rock band, with occasional strong pop influences. They serve as the perfect bridge between heavier acts and more melodic alternative rock that still hits hard. Their lyrics often focus on self-reflection, personal growth, and inner struggle. Rain City Drive shows that melody and power can go hand in hand: a show you won’t want to miss!
Set It Off
In 2023, Set It Off took a bold step by going fully independent, giving themselves complete artistic freedom. The band has always been known for constantly reinventing themselves - growth and experimentation aren’t exceptions, they’re the rule. Their discography feels like a timeline of creative eras: from catchy pop anthems to heavy hitting bangers. No two albums sound the same. Add a saxophone to a poprock track? Set It Off will do it without hesitation. They’re also no strangers to collaboration, because frontman Cody Carson's unmistakable voice is often heard live and in studios. Carson has appeared as a guest vocalist at live shows with Point North, Patent Pending, and Scene Queen. Their latest singles hit harder than ever, and if that’s any indication, their set on our Ysselsteyn festival grounds is going to be nothing short of explosive!
Speedway
Swedish band Speedway has quickly become one of the defining new names in melodic hardcore. After several EPs, the band released their debut album “A Life’s Refrain“ in April 2025. Twelve tracks delivered in just under 21 minutes, with only “Walls of Ire” surpassing the two-minute mark. Despite its brevity, the record was welcomed with open arms, earning a full five-star review from New Noise Magazine. Sonically, Speedway taps into a sound reminiscent of ‘90s emotive hardcore, but with fresh energy and a modern sense of melody. This is the band you want to catch early, so you can proudly say in a few years: I was there, in that small tent!
Static-X
Static-X has carved out their own unmistakable genre over the years: evil disco. Often described as danceable metal, their sound blends pounding industrial riffs with infectious rhythms and it hits incredibly hard. In 2014, the band suffered a devastating loss when frontman Wayne Static passed away at the age of 48. Since 2019, the band has been performing again with vocalist Xer0, who wears a mask ’resembling‘ Wayne Static as a tribute. In this new lineup, Static-X brings a futuristic, robotic energy to the stage that gets every crowd moving, whether it’s moshing or dancing. Expect a visually precise show where industrial, nu-metal and danceable aggression merge seamlessly. With tracks like “Push It” and “The Only” surpassing 100 million streams, this is a spectacle you absolutely do not want to miss.
Sugar Spine
Sugar Spine delivers a clean metalcore sound, straight from the Netherlands. Sugar Spine started as a solo project by their vocalist Josh Muncke, and grew into a full-blown band. The foursome knows how to balance melodic metalcore breakdowns and fast two-stepping hardcore riffs. Their hit-song “Go Outside (C**t)", triggered international growth. Sugar Spine released their newest EP, "Violent Heaven”, in the summer of 2025. The production is even cleaner, and Muncke expresses his frustration about empty words and promises. The relatively young band sounds experienced and delivers quality tunes. The members put all their passion into their music, which you can definitely hear at their live shows!
Suicidal Tendencies
Suicidal Tendencies is an American heavy metal band, formed in 1980[5] in Venice, Los Angeles, California, by vocalist Mike Muir. The band has undergone various lineup changes, with Muir as the only remaining and sole constant original member. Their current lineup includes Muir, guitarists Dean Pleasants and Ben Weinman, bassist Tye Trujillo, and drummer Xavier "X" Ware. Notable musicians who have contributed to the band's studio or live activities include Rocky George, Mike Clark, Robert Trujillo, Josh Paul, Stephen "Thundercat" Bruner, Jimmy DeGrasso, Brooks Wackerman, David Hidalgo Jr., Thomas Pridgen, Ron Bruner, Dave Lombardo, Brandon Pertzborn, Greyson Nekrutman, Jay Weinberg, and Josh Freese.
Talco
The Italian group Talco is ready to hype up Jera On Air 2026! Expect a mixture of ska punk, folk and Latin, which the band turned into their own genre: ‘punkchanka’. Talco is so much more than the sunny party band they seem at first, partly because the band has been active for twenty years. Their Italian lyrics are political and touch philosophical issues such as self-worth and human existence. In 2024 they joined NOFX on their farewell tour and also visited Ysselsteyn. From live reviews it becomes clear that Talco is one of the most energetic ska punk bands with a unique festival aesthetic. It is impossible to not jump around during their show!
The Ataris
"Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up," The Ataris told us in 2003, and this became a life motto for many alto kids. Let’s skip being adults during Jera On Air 2026 and step back in time with The Ataris! The band's last official studio album dates back to 2007. After a period of some sweeteners in the form of EPs and compilation albums, it was announced in 2024 that The Ataris was in the studio recording a new album. One year later new single "Car Song" was released, which clearly signals The Ataris's return. So don't miss the chance to see this legendary band!
The Baboon Show
The Baboon Show has been touring almost non-stop since their formation, steadily growing their fanbase through sheer live intensity. Studio time seems limited since their most recent album, “God Bless You All“, dates back to 2023. But this only reinforces their reputation as a relentless live band. True to their own path, they even released a Spanish-language version of their 2018 album “Radio Rebelde“. The Swedish quartet is known for blending punk and rock ’n’ roll with politically charged lyrics that demand attention. The Baboon Show is ready to ignite Jera On Air 2026 with a fiery, high-octane performance.
The Flatliners
The musical career of The Flatliners is nothing short of impressive. The punk quartet has been active for over twenty years, still performing with the same lineup they started with as teenagers. They can also proudly call themselves one of the youngest bands ever to sign with Fat Wreck Chords. Their 2010 album “Cavalcade” marked a breakthrough moment for The Flatliners, and until about five years ago, the band toured almost non-stop. They’ve earned a reputation for their energetic live shows, tight rhythm section, and ability to captivate audiences. On their most recent album, “New Ruin” from 2022, the band chose to handle much of the production and recording themselves, working closely with friends — a testament to how much they’ve matured in their creative process.
The Menzingers
The Menzingers bring everything you want and expect from a festival band: raw energy and massive sing-along choruses. Since 2006, the Americans have been throwing their punk rock into the world. Their music tells stories of friendship, growing older, lost nights, and everything in between. You can hear it in tracks like “After the Party” and “America (You’re Freaking Me Out)”. Their breakthrough album, “On the Impossible Past”, set the tone for The Menzingers’ musical career: dynamic riffs and choruses that beg to be sung with your hands in the air. A foundation they’ve only built upon ever since. Seeing them live is pure magic, because of the screaming fans, blazing guitars, and choruses you’ll be shouting along with thousands of others. At Jera On Air, this is guaranteed to be one of those shows you’ll never forget.
Trash Talk
Get ready for Trash Talk, because this five-headed hurricane from California knows how to impress! The group has been active for over twenty years and has travelled the whole world. In 2012, the members signed under Odd Future Records as the only non-hiphop act, allowing collaborations with hiphop artists like Tyler, the Creator. Even though Trash Talk’s hardcore sounds nothing like hiphop, the band knows how to create the same chaos at a live show. They have a reputation as one of the most intense live acts within various genres. Fast tracks that are not even a minute long cause Trash Talk to be unstoppable. This is undoubtedly hardcore punk with a cherry on top!
Thrown
You probably haven’t missed the Swedish hardcorepunkband Thrown as one of the most upcoming bands within the alternative music scene. In 2023, the band opens for bands such as Knocked Loose and Counterparts. In August of 2024, their first studio album “Excessive Guilt” appears and fans are drawn to the sharp and aggressive sound that Thrown brings. Thrown expands the traditional metal- and hardcore sound and adds sharp elements: scratches, electronic glitches and even some rap. One thing is for sure: there is no shortage of the much loved, deep breakdowns. Their songs mostly last a little over two minutes, which causes their sound and lyrics to be straight to the point. Thrown connects with their audience, gives an aggressive performance and overwhelms you with adrenaline. That’s why you definitely can’t miss this performance!
Turbonegro
The Norwegian rock band Turbonegro has been around since 1989 and draws inspiration from multiple genres. They transformed a mix of glam punk, hard rock and punk rock into the genre death punk. Their most awarded album, “Apocalypse Dudes”, appears in 1998, but the band broke up before they reached their expected breakthrough. In the following years, fans form a subculture named “Turbojugend”. This group was, among other fans, excited when the band agreed to reform in 2003. Their breaktrough in 2005 was due to "All My Friends Are Dead", an absolute sing-along song. The name Turbonegro is a good description of what to expect from their live show at Jera on Air 2026, dark: and fast!
TX2
What started as the solo project of frontman Evan Thomas has now grown into a full-fledged band. Musically, TX2 blends poppunk and emorap with touches of other alternative styles. The band built a loyal fanbase, The Cult, through TikTok, by openly talking about depression and the importance of self-expression. In an interview with NINE:32, the frontman and guitarist shared a few hints about their upcoming album, saying it will draw inspiration from two iconic records: Green Day’s “American Idiot” and My Chemical Romance’s “The Black Parade.” So warm up your emo heart and dive into their discography. Tracks like “I Would Hate Me Too,” “HOSTAGE (they will not erase us)” and “Heaven Was Full (I’m Headed Straight to Hell)” are the perfect way to get your vocals ready for their set at Jera On Air 2026!
Wargasm
After their explosive set at Jera On Air 2024, there was no way we could leave WARGASM out: the British duo is coming back! Their fierce blend of dance, electronic elements, screams and crushing guitars left the crowd hungry for more. Since then, the duo has been anything but quiet: countless miles on the road and the release of new music, including the single “Small World Syndrome”. Expect another wild cocktail of styles this year: from hiphop and pop to screamo, dubstep and heavy metal. WARGASM is chaotic, energetic, and maybe just a little addictive. And that’s exactly what makes them a band you don’t just want to hear, but need to see at Jera On Air this year!
Ways Away
In their own biography, Ways Away describe themselves as “four guys who have been doing bands for a while do another band.” This supergroup certainly has an impressive résumé, featuring vocalist Jesse Barnett of Stick To Your Guns and guitarist Sergie Loobkoff of Samiam, among others. As longtime fans of each other’s musical projects, the members already shared a mutual respect and enthusiasm - something that ultimately gave birth to Ways Away. Their story shows how something truly special can emerge when seasoned musicians from different genres come together to create something new. Musically, Ways Away blend elements of punk, post-hardcore, and melodic rock. Lyrically, the band explores themes such as the modern society, personal struggles, love, and loss, as heard on their latest album: “I’m Not You”.
We Came As Romans
We Came As Romans is an American metalcore band formed over 20 years ago in Troy, Michigan. In 2018, the fandom was shaken by the sudden passing of vocalist Kyle Pavone. After a period of silence, the band returned with renewed energy. Their 2022 album “Darkbloom“ was widely regarded as a powerful comeback: darker, heavier, and more personal than ever before. In the summer of 2025, the band released “All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed“. The album was warmly received by critics within the metal subgenre: “We Came As Romans have set the bar even higher; their new record reminds audiences of the subgenre’s potential. [...] Blending a mixture of theology, philosophy, and introspection. This album represents the best metalcore has to offer.“ Naturally, this is something every metalcore fan wants to experience live. We Came As Romans are known for their strong audience interaction, driven by the close connection with their fanbase and the openness about mental health and loss. This won’t be your average party, but it will hit hard!
