The British band SOFT PLAY resurfaced in 2024 after a name change and the release of their album "HEAVY JELLY." A year later an extended version of the album was released. During the summer of 2025, the punk duo was constantly doing live shows. Isaac Holman and Laurie Vincent make at least as much noise as your average heavy metal band and bring a dose of energy that's truly impressive. Changing their band name - previously SLAVES - provoked a lot of negative reactions from their fanbase. The band was accused of no longer being punk. In response, SOFT PLAY released the song "Punk's Dead," featuring a guest appearance by none other than Robbie Williams.
